We had an amazing experience at Flavors of Kolkata. The Kolkata-style biryani was flavorful and perfectly spiced, with tender meat and that classic touch of egg and potato. We also tried the mutton kosha with paratha, it was rich, delicious, and comforting, just like homemade food. What made the visit even better was getting to chat with the owner. He was super friendly and shared how his passion for cooking started during COVID. You can truly taste that love and care in every dish. We wanted to experience the authentic Bengali Cuisine Experience & we were more than happy with the food we got... the Ilish Fish was just amazing. I ordered Gondhoraj Ilish (Fish) and chicken and it was just too good.
For Mother's Day, brought our mom here. This is the 1st place our mom was satisfied with the food & service. We finally have Bengali food in Hamilton. The taste is as authentic as you can get. The Chef & owner likes to personally chat before taking orders. They're very welcoming to my Guide Dog Let's do our best to support this community treasure.

Tried the Fish Kabiraji at Flavors of Kolkata in Hamilton Downtown, and it was absolutely spot-on! The fillet was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—the authentic Bengali Kabiraji. The egg and breadcrumb coating was done to perfection, capturing the true taste of Kolkata. Dined today at Flavors of Kolkata. Awesome taste. Reminds you of the taste of Kolkata, being so far away! We had the Shorshe Ilish , Ilish paturi (ongoing Ilish festival) and daab chingri. Perfect food for the jamai shosti celebration ! Loved the food, host was awesome. Will definitely visit again
